COMPONENT PART
FUNCTION
Vehicle-speed sensor Converts vehicle speed to pulse.
Electronic control unit (ECU)
Recieves signals from sensor and control switches;
ECU controls all automatic speed control functions.
Actuator
Regulates the throttle valve to the set opening by sig-
nals from the ECU.
CRUISE main switch Switch for automatic speed control power supply.
SET switch
Controls automatic speed control functions by SET
Control switch
RESUME switch
(COAST) and RESUME (ACCEL).
CRUISE main switch indicator
Illuminates when CRUISE main switch is ON (Built into
CRUISE switch).
When the SET or RESUME switch is switched ON, the
Pieza alarm alarm sounds to notify the driver that the control unit
has recieved the ON signal.
