Loopback Interface Commands

The commands described in this section are used to create, delete, and otherwise manage loopback
interfaces. A loopback interface is expected to be up on a constant basis, provides the source address for
sent packets, and can be used to receive both local and remote packets. Typically, a loopback interface is
used by routing protocols.
