Parameter indexing

When certain parameters apply to more than one input or output, an index selector
parameter is used. The index selector parameter defines the measurement signal path
for each input or output of its applicable parameter.
The Level Selector is the most commonly used index selector parameter; it is required for
almost all inputs and outputs. In the illustration below,
