Replacing the battery

The HydroRanger 200 HMI comes pre-installed with a battery to power the RAM that
stores parameter settings and totalizer values in between hourly backups to non-volatile
memory. It is important to always have a working battery installed in the device to ensure
that settings and values are not lost.
WARNING: Disconnect power before replacing the battery.
Notes on the battery:
• Number: BR2032
• Life expectancy: 10 years
• Type: Lithium metal coin cell
Dispose of battery in an environmentally safe manner, and according to
local regulations.
Installing a replacement battery
1. To ensure that the most recent data is
written to non-volatile memory, use the local
push buttons to enter Program mode by
pressing
2. Return to Measurement mode by
pressing
3. Disconnect power to the device.
4. Open the enclosure lid.
5. Slide the old battery out of the holder.
6. Slide the new battery into the battery holder. Make sure it is positioned in the
correct polarity in accordance to the label.
7. Close and secure the enclosure lid.
