Safe Basic Functions
● Click "Safe basic functions (STO, SS1, SBC)," to parameterize the basic functions via
onboard terminals:
● This screen form provides the following setting options:
– "STO active"
– "Forced dormant error detection (test stop) of the shutdown paths"
– "Test stop required"
– "Remaining time until test stop"
– "Safe Brake Control"

Select the parameters with which the "STO active" status is to be interconnected
(r9773.1). One or more interconnections are possible, but not mandatory.
This is where you set the time interval for performing the forced dormant error
detection and test of the safety shutdown paths (p9659).
Select the parameters to be interconnected with the status "Shutdown path test
required" (r9773.31). One or more interconnections are possible, but not mandatory.
This indicates the remaining time until dynamic operation and test of the safety switch-
off signal paths are performed (p9660).
Activate the Safe Brake Control (SBC/p9602).
