Timer Response-Timeout (Hwtacacs Scheme View) - HP HSR6600 Command Reference Manual

Consider the performance of the NAS and the HWTACACS server when you set the real-time accounting
interval. A shorter interval requires higher performance. Use a longer interval when there are a large
number of users (more than 1000, inclusive).

timer response-timeout (HWTACACS scheme view)

Use timer response-timeout to set the HWTACACS server response timeout timer.
Use undo timer response-timeout to restore the default.
Syntax
timer response-timeout seconds
undo timer response-timeout

The HWTACACS server response timeout time is 5 seconds.

Parameters
seconds: HWTACACS server response timeout period in seconds, ranging from 1 to 300.
Usage guidelines
HWTACACS is based on TCP. When the server response timeout timer or the TCP timeout timer times out,
the device is disconnected from the HWTACACS server.
