5.1.1 Pickup Assembly

1) Is the copy paper curled or wavy?
YES: Replace the paper. Advise the user on the correct method of storing

• Check the guide plate for deformation.
• Check the prism for dirt. If soiled, clean it with a blower brush.
(If the dirt cannon be removed, dry wipe with lint-free paper.)
