5 Troubleshooting Feeding Problems

5.1 Copy Paper Jams

Jams occurring inside the machine may be grouped according to their locations as fol-
lows:
1. pickup assembly
2. separation/feeding assembly
3. fixing/delivery assembly
4. drum cleaner assembly
5. holding tray assembly
6. feeding assembly
The descriptions that follow are also given in reference to the locations of jams. The loca-
tion or type of jam may be checked in service mode (COPIER>DISPLAY>JAM).
