Preparing the Rackmount System for the Compaq
Rack
The system is shipped unassembled. Perform the following procedure for
preparing the system for rack installation.

Prepare the system as follows:
1. Attach a front mounting bracket
three M3 x 6 mm screws per bracket.
2. Pull the narrow segment (slide mounting bracket)
out of a chassis slide and detach it completely by pressing down the
retainer spring
so that the end of the chassis slide with three holes will stick out past the
system. Secure the chassis slide track to the system with five M4 x 6
mm screws.
3. Repeat the step for the other chassis slide.
