Overheating Problems

Internal sensors monitor system and power supply temperature and shut down
the system if maximum limits are exceeded. If the system shuts down
unexpectedly:
Ensure that the top cover and side panel are properly in place.
Verify that the ambient temperature does not exceed the limits specified
in Table 1-8 in Chapter 1, "Environmental Characteristics ."
Refer to Table 9-3, "Troubleshooting Power Problems" to troubleshoot power
supply problems and fan failure.
