Starting an OpenVMS Installation
After you boot the operating system CD-ROM, an installation menu is
displayed on the screen. Choose item 1 (Install or upgrade OpenVMS Alpha).
Refer to the OpenVMS installation document for information on creating the
system disk.

Display products that this procedure can install

Install or upgrade layered products

Show installed products

Reconfigure installed products
6)
Remove installed products
7)
Execute DCL commands and procedures

Shut down this system

1. Boot the OpenVMS operating system CD-ROM.
2. Choose option 1 (Install or upgrade OpenVMS Alpha). To create the
system disk, see the OpenVMS installation document.
