Selecting the motor type by entering the motor data

⇒ Under Motor name: enter a name for the motor.
⇒ Select Enter motor data
⇒ From the selection box next to Motor type:, select the appropriate motor for your
application.
⇒ Under Parallel motor connection, enter the number of motors connected in parallel when
required.
Motors connected in parallel must be of the same type and rating.

Selecting the motor type
The selection of the motor type is used to pre-assign specific motor parameters and to
optimize the operating characteristics and behavior. Details are described in the list manual
in the p0300 parameter.
