Installation Check List

Unpack And Inventory Order

1. □ Check that all packages arrived as per the shipping list.
If parts or pieces are missing, stop the installation and notify your immediate supervisor.
2. □ Inspect all packages for external damage.
If there is damage, stop the installation, notify the customer and your immediate supervisor.
3. □ Open the OPEN ME FIRST envelope and verify the configuration of the system.
4. □ Unpack the system console, keyboard, and mouse.
5. □ Unpack all cables.
6. □ Remove all shipping brackets and/or shipping screws.
7. □ Conduct an inventory of received items against those listed in the SDP.
8. □ Unpack the Application Processor (AP). Ground yourself, open the AP and ensure that the
memory, CPUs, drives, cards, and EEPROMs are seated properly. Also make sure all
securing screws are in place.

System Setup

1. Check that all TMS are properly seated and secure.
2. Connect and secure the internal LAN cables according to the SDP LAN diagram. Do not
connect the customer provided LAN cables at this time. (The addresses on the AP are not
configured yet!)
3. Connect, secure, and label the console, keyboard, and mouse cables, if any.
