1. Test depends on the platform configuration. Perform the TPM FFT procedure only after the Basic Platform
Test is completed.

Accessing FFT Documentation from a Sun Console

1. Redirect the display on the MPS AP to the Sun test console.
setenv DISPLAY<nodename or IP address>:0
2. Start Acrobat Reader in the background.
acroread &
3. Navigate to $MPSHOME/PERIfft/fftests/docs and open the appropriate FFT document.

Accessing FFT Documentation from a PC

Note:
The PC must be on the same network as the MPS AP.
1. Using Exceed connect to the MPS AP and redirect the display to the PC:
setenv DISPLAY<PC IP address>:0
2. Use and FTP session to connect to the MPS AP and execute the following commands to
copy FFT documents to the PC.
Note:
Occasionally, the FFT documents are patched (updated) similar to other parts of the FFT
package. Over time, the local copies stored on the PC become outdated. Always check
for a newer version of documents as PERIfft is patched.
