The TCCP is connected from each TMS to the corresponding connector on the TCCP back panel by
a direct feed RJ48M cable. In TCCP equipped systems, PSTN connections are made at the TCCP
using the RJ48M or RJ48C connectors on the front of the panel. A pair of bantam jacks (SND and
RCV) for each span is connected to the TCCP. The bantam jacks are resistor isolated and can be
used for monitoring only. The bantam jacks cannot be used to create span loop-back connections.
Loop-back connections for testing can be made between TMS or spans using special crossover
cables as described in
page 242.

Connecting Local Area Networks

Ethernet connections are implemented as specified in your System Definition Package (SDP).
