password.
After you enter your login and password, the Welcome window closes, this initial Alarm
Viewer becomes an icon, and a cmdtool window opens.
Note:
The menu items on this startup Alarm Viewer are inactive. To view alarms after startup,
launch another Alarm Viewer.
5. On the front control panel (FCP), set power switches for each slot containing a TMS to on.
6. Wait for each TMS to boot up. You can use the Alarm Viewer to watch the system load
events. At completion, each MPS generates an MPS UP alarm.
7. Start MPS Manager. (See MPS System Operators Guide.)
Configuration files load all the necessary software. After startup, the MPS is ready for call
processing.

2. Click MENU on the desktop to open the Workspace menu.
3. Select Exit.
4. The system prompts you to confirm your exit. Select Exit.
5. The system exits OpenWindows and displays the Solaris screen prompt. You are still logged
on as a user (or superuser).
