Ethernet changes cannot be made through the Web browser interface, they must be made
through the diagnostic port.

Setting Up the Async Ports

Select the Ports menu on the left and click Async. The following window appears.
Select the tab labelled Port 1. Observe that the speed, parity, and bit number settings are as shown
in the preceding screen capture. Set Authentication to None by selecting values from the lists and
eliminate a double login when using the Terminal Server. Select Save at the top of the window to
save the changes.
The parameters for Ports 1, 2 and 5 through 16 are setup as shown in the preceding figure. To copy
the settings to the other ports, click copy at the bottom of the screen, see
Parameters
on page 103.
