Just a Bunch of Disks (JBOD) units provide additional data storage for Application or Speech
Processors. The JBOD has the following features:
• JBOD units are available for AC and DC platforms
• Support Multiple servers and Operating Systems
• Local and Remote Management from a single Console
• Store up to 584 GB in 1U in 4 bays
• Support 73 GB drives in 10 K or 15 K RPM or 146 GB drives in 10 K RPM
• High Availability: RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3
• Hot serviceable with one RAID controller
• Online RAID firmware updates available

MPS 1000 SIP and RTP

The MPS 1000 architecture provides for the implementation of voice or vocabulary transmission
over a private or public IP network. The system is RFC 3261 SIP compliant, and users running any
SIP compliant client software can initiate or receive calls. Calls can be made from client to phone,
phone to client, or client to client. SIP and RTP interface from MPS is possible by using a CCSS SIP
Server and Card set consisting of a DCC/ CTPM and TPM (Trunk Pack Module). For more details
