Specification
hd
(home directory) specifies the directory on the boot server from which to obtain images and
initialization files. hd is very similar to the target directory.
ip
The IP address for the TPM card.
DCC Entries
dcc34:sm=255.255.0.0:gw=10.7.203.72:td=/
tftpboot:bf=:ht=ethernet:ha=008001D01015:ip=10.7.156.14
The DCC entries are configured with the following specifications.
T128
Indicates to the DCC that a TPM card is present and the address of the TPM card. This is an
important entry. It must match the IP address in the TPM entry for the TPM that is a daughter
card to this DCC.
sm
The subnet mask.
ha
DCC hardware address that can be obtained from the DCC TIP window.
ip
The IP address for this DCC to use.
Note:
Remember to use quotation marks ("") when indicated. When entries are added to the bootp
table, the bootp daemon (bootpd) reads the entries and does not need to be restarted.

ATM Switch Configuration

Caution:
Both Primary and Secondary ATM Switches are preprogrammed to provide correct packet
switching. These two devices are not interchangeable without program modifications.
To program these switches, you need to use a PC or laptop and appropriate software.

Loading Spans

• There are 30 channels per span in the TPM.
• The TPM-200 supports two spans for a total of 60 channels.
• The TPM-800 supports eight spans for a total of 240 channels.
• The TPM-1100 supports eight spans for a total of 240 channels.
