Extending the windows activation period
About this task
You can extend the Windows activation period for up to 120 days. At which time the system must be
activated.
Procedure
1. To see how much time is still available for activation, click Start > All Programs >
Accessories . Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
2. Type: slmgr -dli
3. To extend the timer for 30 days, type: slmgr -rearm.
