Replace the IP addresses in TARGETS with the IP address of the stacked switch, first switch
IP and second switch IP as follows: TARGETS="stackIP firstSwitchIP secondSwitchIP"
12. Run the following commands.
chmod 744 /etc/init.d/ipmp.targets chown root:sys /etc/init.d/
ipmp.targets ln /etc/init.d/ipmp.targets /etc/rc2.d/S70ipmp.targets
13. Reboot the server for the configuration to take effect.
14. Verify that the ipmp.targets script correctly associates IP addresses and ipmp interfaces.
Execute the following command and compare your output to the sample.
netstat -ar|grep <targets ip in ipmp.targets>
root@MPSAP1-a {8} netstat -ar | grep 10.7.1.107
10.7.1.10710.7.1.107 UGH 1 0
10.7.1.107 -- UHA 1 32 bge1

15. Display IPMP interface messages. Execute the following command and compare your output
to the sample.

16. Test the interface fail over.
a. Run the ping command.
ping -s 10.7.0.1
b. Unplug the network cable attached to bge0.
c. Execute the ifconfig -a command. Compare your results with the following sample.
