This example shows how to enable the logging of system messages with a severity higher than
warnings to the remote host 20.3.3.3.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)#logging server
Switch(config)#

This command is used to specify the interface whose IP address will be used as the source address
for sending the SYSLOG packet. Use the no form of this command to revert to the default setting.
logging source-interface INTERFACE-ID
no logging source-interface
Parameters
INTERFACE-ID
Default
By default, the IP address of the closest interface will be used.
Command Mode
Global Configuration Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 12.
Usage Guideline
Use this command to specify the interface whose IP address will be used as the source address of
the SYSLOG packet.
Example
This example shows how to configure VLAN100 as the source interface for SYSLOG packets.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)#logging source-interface vlan 100
Switch(config)#
