5. Access Management Commands

5-1 access class
This command is used to specify an access list to restrict the access via a line.Use the no form of this
command to remove the specified access list check.
access-class IP-ACL
no access-class IP-ACL
Parameters
IP-ACL
Default
None.
Command Mode
Line Configuration Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 15.
Usage Guideline
This command specifies access lists to restrict the access via a line. At most two access lists can be
applied to a line. If two access lists are already applied, an attempt to apply a new access list will be
rejected until an applied access list is removed by the no form of this command.
Example
This example shows how a standard IP access list is created and is specified as the access list to
restrict access via Telnet. Only the host 226.1.1.1 is allowed to access the server.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)#ip access-list vty-filter
Switch(config-ip-acl)#rule permit 226.1.1.1 0.0.0.0
Switch(config-ip-acl)# exit
Switch(config)# line telnet
Switch(config-line)# access-class vty-filter
Switch(config-line)#
5-2 ip http server
This command is used to enable the HTTP server. Use the no form of this command to disable the
HTTP server function.
ip http server
no ip http server

None.
