III. Installation Procedure
[Preparations]
1. If a finisher is connected, remove the finisher from
the main unit.
2. Remove the left side panel, rear panel , Cover
plate, upper panel (rear) following the procedure
below. Positioning of each of the outer panels is
indicated the following illustration.

(1) Unscrew the 6 screws and remove the left side
panel.
(2) Unscrew the 9 screws and remove the rear
panel.
(3) Unscrew the 2 screws and remove the Cover
plate.
(4) Unscrew the 2 screws for each of the right and
left ADF stoppers on the ADF rear, and remove
the stoppers. Then open and set the ADF in an
upright position, unscrew the 3 screws, and
remove the upper panel (rear).

3. Unscrew the 7 screws and remove the fan
mounting plate shown the following illustration.
