3. Correct the paper stacking by the following
procedures, if the "centering-errored" or "skewed"
output appears.
[Adjustment for centering-error]
The differential less than 4mm is corrected
automatically through the paper pass mechanism of
the Main body.
Make a sample copy and if it is skewed ,execute the
following procedure to adjust it.
(1) The differential can be verified by selecting the
Dip switch 12-3-1 (ON) from the 25
mode.(Cancel automatic adjustment)
(2) Turn OFF the power switch and turn it ON again.
(3) Make a sample copy to check for centering errors.
(4) Raise the stack tray and turn OFF the power
switch.
(5) Open the front cover of the LCT and loosen the
screw fixing the Paper size setting plate.
(6) Loosen the screws fixing the Paper guide side
plates (4 screws) and remove the right side
plate.
(7) Loosen the screws fixing the center-pinion gear
(2 screws) to adjust the position of the Center-
pinion gear according to the centering error, then
secure them again.

(8) Secure the screws fixing the Paper size setting
plate.
(9) Move the Paper guide side plates on both sides
of the LCT according to the adjustment made
for the center-pinion gear, then fix again with
screws.
(10) Turn the power ON, and check if there is a
centering error.
(11) After adjustments are made, install the right
side plate (4 screws).
(12) After adjusting, return the Dip switch to 12-3-0
(OFF) and turn OFF the power switch and turn
it ON again.
[Adjustment for skew]
Make a sample copy and if it is skewed,move the set
position of the positioning pin at the LCT bottom plate.
