(2) Setting the software DIP switches
Set the DIP switches for 25-mode software if
the PZ-108 for either 2, 3 or 4 punch holes has
been installed. (See the table below.)

(3) Adjustment
Punch unit Punch Vertical position adjustment
Adjust the vertical punching position.
Step Operation
1 Set to 36 mode.
2 [36 mode menu]
Press 6 Finisher adjustment.
3 [Finisher adjustment mode menu]
Press 5 Punch adjustment.
4 [Punch adjustment mode menu]
Press 3 Punch unit punch Vertical pos. adj.
5 [Punch unit Vertical position adj menu]
Press the COPY SCREEN key.
6 Set paper in the tray, then set the original
and press the Start button.
7 Confirm the vertical punching position.
8 If the vertical punching position is not
properly set, press the C button while holding
down the P button.
9 [Punch unit Vertical position adj menu]
Press the NEXT ADJUSTMENT or
PREVIOUS ADJUSTMENT key to adjust
the paper size.
10 Use the numeric keys to enter a numerical
value, then press the SET key.
Setting range: -50 to +50
1 step = 0.1 mm
11 Repeat steps 5 to 10 until the vertical
punching position is correctly set.
12 Press the PREVIOUS SCREEN key to
return to the Punch adjustment mode menu.
Punch unit Punch horizontal position adjustment
Adjust the horizontal punching position.
Step Operation
1 Set to 36 mode.

Press 6 Finisher adjustment.

Adjust the amount of resistance loop.

1 Set to 36 mode.

Press 5 Punch resist loop adjustment.

Press 1 Punch resist loop adjustment (main
body).
Press the
PREVIOUS ADJUSTMENT key to select
reversed paper exit. Press the COPY
SCREEN key.
6 Set paper in the tray, then set the original
and press the Start button.
7 Confirm the amount of punching-resistance
loop.
8 If the amount of punching-resistance loop is
not properly set, press the C button while
holding down the P button.
9 Use the numeric keys to enter a numerical
value, then press the SET key.
Setting range: -20 to +20
1 step = 0.8 mm
10 Repeat steps 5 to 9 until the amount of
punching-resistance loop is correctly set.
11 [Punch resist loop adjustment mode menu]
Press the
PREVIOUS ADJUSTMENT key to select
ADU paper exit. Press the COPY SCREEN
key.
12 Perform steps 7 to 10.
13 Press the PREVIOUS SCREEN key to
return to the Punch adjustment mode menu.
