Punch horizontal position adjustment
Adjust the horizontal punching position.
Step
Operation

Set to 36 mode.

Press 6 Finisher adjustment.

Press 5 Punch adjustment.

[Punch adjustment mode menu]
Press 2 Punch horizontal position adj.

[Punch horizontal position adj menu]
Press the COPY SCREEN key.

Set paper in the tray, then set the original
and press the Start button.

Confirm the horizontal punching position.
Standard: 10.5mm (AB size) / 9.5mm (inch size)

If the horizontal punching position is not
properly set, press the C button while holding
down the P button.

[Punch horizontal position adj menu]
Use the numeric keys to enter a numerical
value, then press the SET key.
Setting range: -50 to +50
1 step = 0.1 mm

Repeat steps 5 to 9 until the horizontal
punching position is correctly set.

Press the PREVIOUS SCREEN key to
return to the Punch adjustment mode menu.
Punch resist loop adjustment
Adjust the amount of resistance loop.

Press 5 Punch adjustment.

Press 3 Punch resist loop adjustment.

[Punch resist loop adjustment mode menu]
Press the
NEXT ADJUSTMENT
PREVIOUS ADJUSTMENT key to select
reversed paper exit. Press the COPY
SCREEN key.

Set paper in the tray, then set the original
and press the Start button.

Confirm the amount of punching-resistance
loop.

If the amount of punching-resistance loop is
not properly set, press the C button while
holding down the P button.

Use the numeric keys to enter a numerical
value, then press the SET key.
Setting range: -20 to +20
1 step = 0.8 mm

Repeat steps 5 to 9 until the amount of
punching-resistance loop is correctly set.

[Punch resist loop adjustment mode menu]
Press the
PREVIOUS ADJUSTMENT key to select
ADU paper exit. Press the COPY SCREEN
key.

Perform steps 7 to 10.

Press the PREVIOUS SCREEN key to
return to the Punch adjustment mode menu.
