7. Check installation of the VIF board following the
procedure below.
(1) Enter the x b mode.
(2) Enter . "Indication of ROM version".
(3) Check the version number indicated on the
right of "VIF". The indication of the version
number confirms that ROM is installed. A mesh
indication shows that the unit does not recog-
nize the board. In this case reinstall the board.
8. Set the software DIP switch following the proce-
dure below.
(1) Enter the x b mode.
(2) Select z "Software SW setting".
(3) Set the software DIP switch (10-0) to 1 (ON).
(4) Set the software DIP switch (10-1) to 0 (OFF).
(5) Turn off the main switch of the main unit.
9. Follow the procedure below to set the Controller
time.
(1) Turn on the power at the main switch of the
main unit and the power to the IP-602.
(2) Press the Mode Change button and select the
Printer screen.
(3) Press k of the printer basic screen and select
the Controller time.
Ex.: In the case of February 5, 2002, 8:05 a.m.,
input 2002/02/05 08/05, then press the OK
key.
10. Following the instruction manual for the IP-602,
make sure the test printing is carried out cor-
rectly.
11. Attach the left side plate.
12. Screw the cover plate on with the two outer fix-
ing screws (supplied with the VI-602).
