Ethernet and Network Management Port LEDs

The following table describes the status LEDs assigned to each Ethernet port.

The following table describes the status LEDs assigned to the Network Management
port.
Description
Provides the following operational indications for the fans, CPU, and memory:
• Off – Indicates a steady state, no service action is required.
• Steady on – Indicates that a component failure event has been acknowledged
and a service action is required.
Provides the following operational PSU indications:
• Off – Indicates a steady state, no service action is required.
• Steady on – Indicates that a power supply failure event has been
acknowledged and a service action is required on at least one PSU.
Provides the following operational temperature indications:
• Off – Indicates a steady state, no service action is required.
• Steady on – Indicates that a temperature failure event has been acknowledged
and a service action is required.
Ethernet LEDs (NET0, NET1, NET2, NET3)
Color
Description
Green
Speed indicator:
or
• Green on – The link is operating as a Gigabit connection (1000
Mbps).
Amber
• Amber on – The link is operating as a 100-Mbps connection.
• Off – The link is operating as a 10-Mbps connection.
Green
Link/Activity indicator:
• Blinking – A link is established.
• Off – No link is established.
