Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the backup light switch (1).
f Disconnect the connector (2).
Turn Signal Light Switch (Combination Switch)
Removal and Installation
Refer to Combination Switch in Steering section.
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel driver lower cover
assembly (3).
f Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly in Body
Structure section.
3. Remove the illumination controller (2).
f Disconnect the controller connector.
f Remove the controller knob (1).
f Remove the nut.
f Remove the controller from the back side of the
instrument panel driver lower cover assembly.

Installation
To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order,
noting the following point.
1. Apply liquid gasket to the screw portion of the switch
to prevent oil leak.
