Remove the wheel and the wheel spacers.

Place the wheel on wooden blocks.

Warning
Do not allow the wheel to rest on either brake disc as
this may damage the disc and could lead to an accident.

Caution
To prevent wheel and bearing damage, observe
absolute cleanliness and ensure there is no dirt ingress
to the wheel bearings while the wheel is removed.
8.
Thoroughly clean all components and inspect for
wear or damage.

Installation
1.
Lightly smear the wheel spacers with grease and
locate in the hubs.
2.
Position the wheel between the forks ensuring the
spacers remain in position on both sides.

Refit the wheel spindle from the left hand side and
ti ghten to 65 Nm.
4.
Lower the motorcycle to the ground and pump the
front suspension to allow the left hand fork to 'float'
to its natural position on the wheel spindle.
5.
Tighten the fork pinch bolts to 22 Nm.

Thoroughly clean and degrease the brake discs.
7.
Refit the front brake calipers;
see page 14-23 for Daytona 675 up to
VIN 381274 and Street Tiple R;
see page 14-25 for Daytona 675 from
VIN 381275;
