USING THE MENU CONTROL MENU

The menu control feature restricts/allows access to the other menus:
Operator, Setup, and Maintenance. This feature also restricts/allows
access to control panel keys: Tear Off, View and Format. This menu
is only visible using the following procedure:
Simultaneously depress the FF key and the
power on to the printer. The printer will power up as normal.
1. Press the On Line key to place the printer in a offline status.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the main menu.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until Menu Control
is displayed in the lower right corner of the display window.
4. Press the Select key to access the Menu Control options. Allow
Menus will be displayed in the lower right corner of the display
window.
5. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Allow Menus
options.
6. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
menu is displayed in the lower right corner of the display window.
7. Press the Select key to enable or disable the viewing of a menu.
The < symbol immediately follows an enabled menu.
8. Cycle the power to the printer. After the power-up sequence is
complete, only the enabled menus will be viewable and accessible.
If some or all of the menus are locked out, clear the condition by
repeating the power cycle while holding down the FF and ↑
(paper move Up Arrow) as discussed previously and enable some
or all of the menus.
