This menu option is used to configure the serial interface. See the Set
Up Menu Map in Appendix I for a complete view of selections and/or
submenus available.
Use the following procedure to select the Serial option:
▪ While in the I/F Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until Serial is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
The following describes the selections available.
Serial Type
This menu is used to select the serial interface type, RS232C or
RS422.
The Serial Type selected determines which menu items appear
under the Serial Setup menu.
1. While in the I/F Settings menu, press the ▼ (down) menu browse
key. Serial Type is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Serial Type
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
setting is displayed in the lower right corner of the display.
4. Press the Select key to enable a setting or disable a setting. The <
symbol will now immediately follow the selected setting.
