Serial Port Configuration

For data to be exchanged, the printer must be set to match the host
in terms of baud rate, character frame, parity, and Ready/Busy
protocol. The defaults are 9600 baud, 8 data bits, one stop bit, no
parity, and XON/XOFF. These setting may be changed using the Set
Up Menu. See Serial Setup on page 75 for instructions to modify
these settings.

RS-232 Pin Assignments

The serial data receptacle accepts a 25-pin male, D connector, and
#4-40 locking screws.
