CPI Override
This enables/disables the CPI Override setting. When enabled, the
printer will override (ignore) any host-SCS command which attempts
to change the characters per inch value. The current operator-set
value will be used.
1. While in the IBM Format menu option, press the ◄ (left) or ►
(right) menu browse key until CPI Override is displayed in the
lower right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the CPI Override
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
MPP
MPP sets the value for the maximum print position. In SCS mode,
this value may be overridden by host-SCS commands. When powered
on, the printer computes the available MPP. If this option is set to
zero or a value greater than the computed maximum, the printer will
use the computed maximum as the default. In DSC/DSE, mode this
value cannot be overridden by the host.
1. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until MPP is displayed in the lower right corner
of the LCD.
2. Press the Select key to configure the MPP options.
3. Notice the cursor (underline) is now shown under the first digit.
Use the horizontal ◄ ► (left or right) menu browse keys to
position the cursor (underline) under the digit to be changes; use
the vertical ▲ ▼ (up or down) menu browse keys to
increment/decrement the selected numeric digit by one.
4. Press the Clear key after all changes are complete and the
desired value is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
Repeat this section if further changes are necessary.
