MPL Override
This enables/disables MPL (maximum print lines) Override. When
enabled, the printer will override (ignore) any host-SCS command
which attempts to change MPL.
4. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until MPL Override is displayed in the lower
right corner of the LCD.
5. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the MPL Override
options.
6. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
SCS Text
This selects text quality for SCS mode. The options (ranked from
lowest quality to highest quality are Draft, Data Processing, and Near
Letter Quality.
1. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until SCS Text is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the SCS Text
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
Override Text
This enables/disables the Override Text option. When enabled, the
printer will override (ignore) any host-SCS command which attempts
to change the text quality selected by the SCS text menu. The
operator-set value will be used.
1. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key, until Override Text is displayed in the lower
right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Override Text
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
