If enabled and an IBM interface board is installed in Expansion slot 1
or 2, the control panel will display a status related to the IBM host.
The messages are dependent on the connection type, Twinax or Coax.
Meaning
Printer is Online and
communicating with the host.
Operator attention is requested
by the host.
No host communication.
Printer is Online and
communicating with the host.
Operation attention is
requested by the host..
The printer is Offline and the
time set in menu options IRQ
BSY TO or IRQ ERR TO has
expired.
Communications Failure.
No host communication.
Cancel requested. Will change
to "Ready" where cancel is
accepted by the host.
PA1 key requested. Will change
to "Ready" when the key is
accepted by the host..
PA2 key requested. Will change
to "Ready" when the key is
accepted by the host.
Printer placed in send state by
the host.
1. While in the I/F Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until IBM Host Status is located in the lower
right corner of the LCD.
2.
Press the ▼ (down) menu browse, or the Select key, to access the
IBM Host Status menu options.
3. Press the ◄ (left ) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
setting is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
4. Press the Select key to enable or disable an option. The < symbol
will immediately follow an enabled option.
