5050/5100 User's Manual
Adjust the amplitude of the printer. The correct amplitude pattern
consists of columns of six dots. The goal of the amplitude adjustment
is to bring the six lines being printed into perfectly spaced vertical
lines. The amplitude pattern should not have any gaps or
overlapping.
1. While in the Alignment menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until AdjustAmplitude is displayed in the lower right
corner of the window.
2. Press the Select key, or the ▼ (down) menu browse key, to access
the AdjustAmplitude options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the Pattern
is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
4. Press the Select key to print the pattern to adjust the amplitude.
5. Use the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse keys to adjust the
amplitude while the pattern is printing.
6. Press the Clear key to stop printing the pattern.
7. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) key until Save Amplitude is
displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
8. Press the Select key to save the amplitude adjustment.
