switchport priority override
To configure the router to override the priority value of ingress traffic on an interface, use the switchport
priority override command in interface configuration mode. To disable a priority override configuration,
use the no form of this command.
Syntax Description
No arguments or keywords.
Defaults
This command is disabled by default.

Usage Guidelines
To configure the default priority value used to overwrite the priority value of incoming traffic, use the
switchport priority default command.
If you configure switchport priority override without specifying a default priority value using the
switchport priority default command, the router assigns a priority value of 0.
Examples
The following example shows how to use the switchport priority override command:
Router# configure terminal
Router(config)# interface FastEthernet1/7
Router(config-if)# switchport mode trunk
Router(config-if)# switchport priority default 7
Router(config-if)# switchport priority override
