The two row by sixteen-character LCD provide the following
information:
The printer's status - Online, Offline, Self-test, etc.

Which menu or menu option is presently on display to assist in

making selections.
Fault messages.
•
The keys are sealed and raised rubber-type switches used to make
menu selections, clear faults, and position the paper. An explanation
of the keys' functions is given in the following section on "Operation
of the Control Panel."
