This menu option is used to set the hexadecimal value of the received
data character to be ignored when the Ignore Chr Mode is enabled
(See previous option). The valid range of hexadecimal values is 0X00
to 0XFF.
Use the following procedure to select this option:
1. While in the QMS menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until Ignore Character is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the Select key to access the Ignore Character options.
3. This option is user set. Notice the cursor (underline) is now
shown under the first digit. The horizontal ◄ ► (left or right)
menu browse keys to position the cursor (underline) under the
digit to be changed; the vertical ▲ ▼ (up or down) menu browse
key increment/decrement the selected alphanumeric digit by one.
Enter the hex value of the character desired.
4. Press the Select key after all changes are complete and the
desired value is displayed in the lower right corner of the LCD.
Repeat this step if further changes are necessary.
5. Press the Clear key to exit this option.
This configures the IPDS (Intelligent Print Data Stream) options. This
menu option and its submenus are visible with IPDS software loaded
in the printer.
1. While in the Filter Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until IPDS is displayed in the lower right corner
of the display.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the configuration
settings for IPDS.
The following describes the options available:
IPDS BC Stagger
This selects the IPDS BC (Bar Code) Stagger setting for IPDS. When
enabled, barcode printing is faster but at a lower print quality.
1. While in the IPDS menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until IPDS BC Stagger is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the IPDS BC
Stagger options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
