This menu is also used to select font enhancements.
Option
When enabled, this causes any Emulation
selection of the high speed font type to be the
"tall" high speed font (3/144" vertical between
dot rows) type. If disabled, the "short" high
High Speed
speed font (1/72" vertical between dot rows)
type is used. Emulation selection of the high
speed font varies within the emulation. See the
Programmer's Manual for additional
information.
If this option is enabled, the printer will print
all received characters "a" (0X61) to "z" (0X7A)
UpperCase
to be printed as uppercase "A" (0X41) to "Z"
(0X5A).
From the menu, either High Speed ("Tall" High Speed) or High
Speed 2 ("Short" High Speed) may be selected from the Font
menu options regardless of the Emulation. However, an
emulation selection of high speed via escape sequences within
an emulation will override the menu selection.
1. While in Modify Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse keys until Print Options is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Print Options
options. Print Options will now be displayed in the upper left
corner of the LCD.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
selection is displayed.
4. Press the Select key to select the Print Options option. The <
symbol will now immediately follow the saved Print Options
option.
