This option is used to configure CA(RTS) settings for RS232 serial
type. This is also known as Request to Send.

1. While in the Protocol menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until the CA(RTS) option is displayed.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the CA(RTS)
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse keys until the desired
CA(RTS) option is displayed in the LCD.

Press the Select key to enable or disable an option. The < symbol
will now immediately follow the enabled option.
This option is used to configure the SCA(SRTS) settings RS232 serial
type. This is also known as Secondary Request to Send.

Meaning
RTS signal is used to reflect if the printer is ready
(able to receive data) or busy (currently unable to
receive data.)
RTS signal is used to reflect the printer is online or
offline.

condition exists.

(able to receive data) or busy (currently unable to
receive data.)
SRTS signal is used to reflect the printer is online or
