This menu is used to select a printer emulation and configure the
emulation.
1. While in the Set Up menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until Emul Settings is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Emul Settings
submenus.
The following describes accessing the submenus and options:
This menu configures the ANSI (4800) emulation. See the ANSI
(4800) table on page 184 in Appendix G for additional information.
1. While in the Emul Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until ANSI (4800) is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the Select key to access the settings for ANSI (4800). ANSI
(4800) will be displayed in the upper left corner of the LCD and
Options will be displayed in the lower right corner.
3. Press the Select key to access the options menu.
4. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
ANSI (4800) setting.
5. Press the Clear, or ▲ (up) menu browse, key to exit this option.
This menu configures the ANSI (4410) emulation. This emulation
option is provided for legacy printers. If selected the printer will
emulate the GENICOM 4410 or 4440 printer. See the ANSI(4410)
table on page 184 in Appendix G for additional information.
1. While in the Emul Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until ANSI (4410) is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the Select key to access the settings for ANSI(4410). ANSI
(4410) will be displayed in the upper left corner of the LCD and
Options will be displayed in the lower right corner.
3. Press the Select key to access the options menu.
4. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
ANSI (4410) setting. The < symbol will immediately follow an
enabled setting.
5. Press the Clear, or ▲ (up) menu browse, key to exit this option.
