Control Panel Features The control panel is located on the front of the printer, and contains the display, indicators, and pushbuttons that allow you to view and change the printer settings. The figure below shows the control panel features.
Pushbuttons The control panel pushbuttons allow you to access and navigate menus, and also assist you in recovering from printer errors. The table below explains the functions of the eight pushbuttons. PUSHBUTTON START/STOP—Push this button to start or stop the printer, or to exit the menu system.
Navigating the Control Panel Menus When you press the MENU button on the control panel, you enter the printer’s menu system. At that point, the first line of the display contains the text “ Menu ”, indicating that you are in the menu system.
