Tension Fingers Lateral Adjustment

The bar holding the tension fingers can be adjusted sideways by
loosening the tension finger lateral adjust knob. See Figure 2-17.
Adjust the bar so the left and right edges of the paper pass either
directly under the middle of a finger or between two fingers. This will
prevent snagging or ruffled edges on the paper. See below.
PAPER EDGE BETWEEN FINGERS
The column indicator label is located on the print module access
panel. The column indicator label also contains directions for
replacing the ribbon cartridge. See Figure 2-18. Use this label as a
guide to position the paper horizontally within the printer. Turn the
horizontal paper adjustment knob to align the paper as needed. This
positions the paper for the first physical print column.
If a left margin is desired, it is set electronically through either the
control panel keys or a command sent by the host.
The marks on the label are set up for paper with a 1/2-inch
perforation strip.
