ASCII Driver
This enables/disables ASCII Driver. When enabled, this menu option
prevents commands in SCS jobs from changing control panel
selections of CPI, LPI, MPL, etc. The printer's SCS controller will not
send any Escape sequences to the print engine.
1. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until ASCII Driver is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the ASCII Driver
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
Print Direction
This option sets the print direction to either Forward (default), left to
right or Reverse, right to left printing. Reverse is for languages that
need to be right based (i.e. Arabic).
4. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until Print Direction is displayed in the lower
right corner of the LCD.
5. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the Print Direction
options.
6. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
Coax Compat
This menu is used to configure the Coax Compat (Coax Compatibility)
settings.
1. While in the IBM Format menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse keys until Coax Compat is displayed in the lower
right corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key. Coax Compatibility will be
displayed in the upper left corner of the LCD.
