The paper handling system for this printer consists of an upper paper
rack and a paper shelf with wickets and a stacking aid. See Figure 2-
2-12.
The 5180 (52 dBa) Cabinet Model has an internally installed
paper handling aid.
The paper shelf hangs on the metal plate. The metal plate hangs on
the back of the printer near the floor. The paper rack hooks onto the
opening in the rear of the printer. See Figure 2-12.
Use the following procedures to install the paper handling system:
1. Hang the paper rack on the back of the printer as shown in
Figure 2-12 and connect the four static ground wires to the slip
on connectors.
2. Fasten the paper stacking guides to the paper shelf. Attach the
paper shelf to the metal plate as shown in Figure 2-12. Hang the
paper shelf in the lower set of holes provided in the rear of the
cabinet at the outside edges.
3. Slide the wickets along the shelf so the distance between the
wickets accommodates the length of the fanfold paper (form
length).
