This selects the IPDS Text Quality. Dp (Data Processing), Draft and
NLQ (Near Letter Quality) are the options available.
1. While in the IPDS menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until IPDS Text is displayed in the lower right corner
of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the IPDS Text
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
IPDS Dens Ovr
This selects IPDS Dens Ovr (Density Override) setting for IPDS. When
enabled, the printer will override any IPDS command attempting to
change the IPDS BC Density, IPDS GR Density, IPDS Image Density,
and IPDS Text quality, the current menu values are used. When
disabled, densityand text quality values can be changed by IPDS
commands.
1. While in the IPDS menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu
browse key until IPDS Dens Ovr is displayed in the lower right
corner of the LCD.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the IPDS Dens Ovr
options.
3. Press the ◄ (left) or ► (right) menu browse key until the desired
option is displayed. Press the Select key to enable or disable an
option. The < symbol will immediately follow an enabled option.
This configures the settings in the IBM Format menu. The menu and
its submenus are only visible with IPDS or SCS software loaded in
the printer. Some of these options apply only to SCS and some apply
to both SCS and IPDS.
1. While in the Filter Settings menu, press the ◄ (left) or ► (right)
menu browse key until IBM Format is displayed in the lower right
corner of the display.
2. Press the ▼ (down) menu browse key to access the configuration
settings for IBM Format.
