This menu option is used to configure the parallel interface only. The
option No Fault PO & Off, under this menu may be enabled or
disabled. In the default condition (disabled), the parallel fault lead
will be set to true for either of the two conditions, paper out or if in
the offline condition. If enabled, the parallel fault lead will not be set
to true for either (or both) of the conditions, paper out and/or offline.
The TCP/IP options is a compatibility option for Genicom 4810/4840
printers. The IP Address, Netmask and Router IP Address of Genicom
models 98-205-153 and 98-305-153 NIC print servers may be
programmed via the control panel menu using the IEEE1284 parallel
interface. This feature is restricted to these specific Genicom model
ethernet print servers and as such utilizes a proprietary Genicom
protocol that differs from the bi-directional 1284 protocol
specifications.
